Synopsis: A young couple on a blind date (no pun intended) argue about who must pay for the dinner bill. In order to settle the dilemma, the man suggests that the two square off in an eye staring contest. Winner pays the bill.

A Matter of Husbands by Ferenc Molnar
Translated by Benjamin Glazer
Directed by Dayna Miles
Synopsis: When an earnest young wife suspects her husband of having an affair with a glamorous and famous Hungarian actress, she decides to confront her with the evidence and beg for her husband back. The actress seems shocked and convinces her that it is nothing but a ploy from her husband to get some attention from her. Embarrassed by the horrible mistake the young wife happily leaves. In the end, the famous actress proves herself to be very talented indeed.

Abandoning Hannah

Synopsis: For Hannah life has been a book of questions without any answers. Hannah has always known she was adopted and has never once doubted the love of her adoptive parents. Much to the disapproval of her father Ben, Hannah embarks on a journey with the support of ther attorney and Godfather Andrew Brener. Finding herself face to face with the mother who gave her up for adoption seventeen years ago. Can Hannah find the strength to forgive the past even if it means opening up old wounds and disappointing the people she cares about most?

A Marriage Proposal by Anton Chekhov
English version by Hilmar Baukhage and Barrett H. Clark

Synopsis: Chekhov is one of the world's finest playwrights, and this One Act is one of his greatest and most unique works. In vaudevillian style, Ivan Vassilevich Lomov, long time wealthy neighbor of Stephan Stepanovich Chubukov, also wealthy, has come to seek marriage of Chubukov's twenty-five year-old daughter, Natalia Stepanovna. After asking and receiving permission to marry Natalia, he tries to get across his proposal. He fails, and all three of them end up in a series of comic and ridiculous circumstances.
