Travel In Europe!
The Ventura College Board is not approving any
Travel Abroad trips at this time. The following
trip will be conducted without any affiliation with Ventura College.
We will be traveling with EF tours, a leader in student travel.
Description
The trip is to England & France to visit the
museums, theaters, and opera houses of Europe.
Students can attend
theatre performances at the Globe in England, the Young
Vic, and the
Comedie Française, among others.
In the past, Students received credit
through the Theatre Arts Department Directed Studies program,

for
3 units of credit.

Itinerary
This is the proposed itinerary, some changes may occur as we
discover new and exciting things to do abroad.
The price includes round trip airfare from LAX,
transfers to & from the airports & hotels & between
destination cities,
accommodations in well located 3 & 4
star hotels, breakfast daily, & 3 dinners, entrances to venues,
and a full time multi-lingual tour manager, just to mention a
few, other fees may apply.
Day 1: Overnight flight from LAX to London
Day 2: Arrival in London, Walking tour of London, dinner included,
optional visit to the London eye.
Day 3: Visit the Tower of London, Globe Theatre for a lecture,
tour & optional evening performance.
Day 4: Stonehenge & Bath Costume Museum, free time in Bath.
Day 5: Royal Drury Lane Theatre backstage visit, Theatre Museum & Victoria & Albert
Day 6: Free Day, Shopping in Camden or Covent Garden & optional
evening performance at the Young Vic
Day 7: Kensington Palace, Check out the Tate Modern, or Liberty
of London.
Day 8: Eurostar to Paris, Musee de la Mode et du Textile, &
walking tour of Iles St. Louis & del la Cite, Dinner included
Day 9: Louvre Museum & Eiffel Tower
Day 10: Musee D'Orsay & tour of the Opera House
Day 11: Versailles
Day 12: Optional trip to Giverny or Free day
Day 13: Free day, Shopping in the garment district. Dinner
included
Day 14: Return to LAX
