Course Description:

This 2 unit course introduces students to the capabilities of Microsoft Access. Students will learn how to create and maintain a database, tables, do queries, custom forms and reports based on ones commonly used in business and government.  See the Course Checklist for the study plan; assignments, and testing schedule. 

Prerequisite

None.  Students taking this course must be comfortable using a computer, and have basic email and Internet navigation skills.  The Ventura College LRC and T4 Computer Labs are available for students who need access to a computer and the Internet.  See T4 Instructor on first use.

Course Days/Time:

This course is conducted online.   Average 4 hours per week (semester total of 64hrs) is required for credit.  Webstar login during time spent working on course material.  If you are unable to complete this course it is your responsibility to drop the class through Records/Admissions by the appropriate date.
