Instructions for Shark & Cetacean Virtual Field Trip

Put your copy of assignment into the USB drive.

Log on the web.

There will be a Shark file and a Cetacean file

you should get a bunch of sites. to visit a site click the entry under the folder heading.

When you finish at one site, pick another. You can get both the shark and cetacean sites if you want to divide your time between them. Follow the links in some of the sites through the sites to the various areas of the site or to other relavant sites.

This material is for your future use if you like. The school computers will destroy your Favorites when you log off so save any notes or favorites onto your flash drive.

You must take notes during your field trip. you may either take notes on paper or onto the computer to save on your flash drive. Since you are sharing computers that means you would need to know how to use windows to have a notepad or document file open for everyone taking notes and keep it out of the way of the material you are viewing.

Your grade will be docked if you go to irrelevant sites. This time is only for selected shark and cetacean sites, not for surfing the web in pursuit of other interests or working on your term reports.
