Learn to cultivate spontaneity on the page and to create your own rituals using time, dream, states of consciousness, and other various triggers and influencers. Danika Dinsmore, MFA is a writer, spokenword artist, film-maker, and educator. Imagination as Value--The Imaginative Horizon Amalio Madueno, MFA

In this poetry seminar/workshop, students bring their work for open reading in a 3 hour discussion regarding contemporary poetics similar in structure to the weeklong poetry and performance course developed by Amalio Madueno at the Taos Poetry Circus for Mexican Bob's Poetry Camp (1994-2001). Using works of students, the course highlights themes and issues discussed by poetics theorists Olsen, Fletcher, Stevens, Blaser, etal. Amalio Madueno, MFA, has performed for poetry festivals, colleges, slams, TV and radio as well as international competitions. His multiple publication credits include the serialization of his chapbook “God in this Vicinity” in ARTLIFE Limited Editions.
