a) Online homework in MyMathLab allows you as many tries as you need to get each problem correct. The due dates are listed online and on the calendar that follows. This homework has videos, examples, animations, Help me solve this and hints that accompany each problem.
b) Quizzes are offered online prior to each test. Each quiz may be taken a maximum of six times. Your best score will be the one that counts for each quiz. These will prepare you for the tests.
c) There is book work for extra practice. Book problems are almost identical to those online. These are not handed in nor graded. The answers are in the book.
d) Calculators are allowed on all exams.
e) No notes of any kind will be allowed on any exam.
f) Makeup exams are possible. There is a 10 point penalty for makeups. They may be taken on the next testing day. (Thats two weeks later. You will then be taking two tests on that day.) All tests are used in determining the semester grade. A zero is recorded for untaken tests.
g) Your overall score will appear online throughout the summer session. It shows current averages for homework, quizzes and tests. Only the overall score is used to determine semester grades.
