Patricia Rush
¡Pura vida! Patty Rush, Spanish instructor, loves to travel, especially to Spain, Mexico and Costa Rica. She takes students along to study language and culture while exploring places of interest. She is the co-author of Mosaicos, 2E, a first-year college textbook for Spanish. A special interest of hers is cooking, and she has taught Mexican cuisine. She is currently the advisor to the Spanish Club.Her B.A. and M.A. are from California State University, Los Angeles.
Dr. Robert Arce, Spanish
Robert Arce, Spanish instructor, is a native bilingual speaker (Spanish/English) from California. He completed his Ph.D. studies in Hispanic languages and literatures at UC, Santa Barbara. He teaches all levels of Spanish and the Spanish for native speakers course sequence. Dr. Arce works with local school districts and colleges to promote the integration of Latin American writers and culture into the curriculum. He is presently working on a textbook for native speakers of Spanish.
