Introduction
The Architecture program at Ventura College is designed to provide
students with an opportunity to pursue an emphasis in
- Architectural Drafting, or
- Electronic Drafting, or
- Industrial Design , or
- Computer Assisted Drafting (e.g. AutoCAD), or
- a combination of all of the above.
This program is an Authorized AutoDesk Training Center
(ATC) and several of our faculty are certified ATC instructors.
The focus of the curriculum is comprehensive.
Students can organize their course of study as a short-term training package ranging from
8 to 32 weeks, OR a traditional 2-year A.S. degree package, OR a course package that is
designed for transfer to a 4-year university. See our college catalog for

Industry Training
As an AutoDesk Certified Training (ACTC), Ventura College
also provides customized short-term training for companies or individuals desiring
hands-on instruction in AutoCAD or other computer assisted drafting programs.
