1:30 - 2:00 Poster Session (Breezeway between SCI 119 and Loading
Dock.) Judging until 3:30, awards at 3:40.
Poster presentations with maps that show how GIS is used to manage
parks, map oil pipelines, do city planning, and the like. (Posters will
be up all day until 3:45)
12:30- 3:45 Vendor Session (All vendors should be available at
this time.)
GIS companies displaying their wares and GIS applications (and GPS
- Global Positioning Systems).
9:30 - 4:30 Vendor Exhibits (SCI 113 and SCI 119)
Vendors can begin to set up at 8am and must up by 12:30. GIS Day Participants
are encouraged to visit exhibits all through the day.

4:30 - 5:30 Hands-on Lab Activity: GIS for Schools in SCI 113
(GIS computer Lab)
This will be a hands-on computer-based activity for teachers, students,
and anyone else who is interested in the use of GIS. We will explore data
about the world, California, Ventura County, and marine resources of the
Channel Islands.
