If you would like lunch, please register by 5pm Tuesday, Nov. 18.
If you don't need lunch, you can register through noon Nov. 20 or just register
on site on the 21st.

Directions: Once you get to campus see map above.
From Ventura or farther north: Hwy 101 South to Hwy 126 East.
Go east on Hwy 126 until the Victoria Ave exit (first exit!). Left
over freeway on Victoria until major light at Telegraph Road. Left
on Telegraph. Ventura College ahead on your right at the
3rd light (Day Road).
Either park right there in the East Lot and pick up a schedule outside of Science
Building (SCI) room 116 and
walk
up to
the
Campus Theater
(5min
walk). If you are running late or don't want to walk, you can turn right on Day
Road, then left at the light on Loma Vista Rd. Just past the theater, you can
park in the West Lot. If you park on campus you will need to buy a $1 daily permit
from one of the yellow parking pass dispensers.

Vendors can begin to set up at 8am. GIS Day Participants are encouraged to visit
exhibits all through the day.

12:30 - 1:15 Lunch (Science building loading dock, around the corner
from SCI 116)
Free for pre-registrants (see top of this page).
1:15 - 1:45 Poster Session (Breezeway between SCI 119 and Loading
Dock.) Judging until 2:45, awards at 3:15.
Poster presentations with maps that show how GIS is used to manage parks,
map oil pipelines, do city planning, and the like. (Posters will be up all
day until 3:30)
1:45 - 3:15 Sponsor Presentations (SCI 116) - Come join our primary sponsors as they showcase the use of their GIS products.

1:45 - 3:15 Hands-on Session with CIRGIS: Using the CIRGIS Data Viewer and making KMLs for data display (SCI 113) - Come to one of these sessions with Paul Van Zuyle as he shows us how to access our regional imagery and put data on top of it.
